First you must obtain your head supervisor's approval to add an International Plan (Voice, Data & Messaging) to your mobile device. This email approval should be sent directly to: recitsupport@sfgov.org
Your supervisor's email approval must also have -- Your full name, department mobile device phone number and all of the required information listed below:



  1. The Start and End Date of your trip
  2. The Locations where you'll be traveling (ie. Paris, France | Madrid, Spain, etc..)
  3. If you are going to be on a Cruise Ship, provide which cruise line and the ports-of-call as some of our Wireless Carriers have mobility packages with cruise lines

Once we receive all of the information per above, we will provide you with pricing plan options. Once this plan option is finalized, you'll receive a separate email confirmation with your International Plan details and detailed instructions on what you need to do on your device for this to go into effect.
